For the second year in a row, The Powers of Art television program will be broadcasting live from the Alex TV studios in Berlin (Wedding) as part of the Month of Performance Art Berlin (MPA-B).

For MPA-B 2012 we are making an open-call to all artists who may be interested to take part in this special episode, dedicated to the topics and themes of MPAB (which are non-existent), and its parallels (which may also be non-existent) to other “international platforms encouraging exchange of information and experience (sic)” such as The European Month of Photography. Four oddly sexy and comical figures, The Bastard Fools, have come to a decision: to invite all those present to take part in their Anti-selection Survey. Prepared with an endless supply of games and actions, and with bright and buoyant child-like spirits, they lure and entangle all participants into their rebellious world. But what hidden agenda do they carry? Are they gnomish dictators? Naïve democrats? Or are they leading us to anarchy?

Die Klingel klingt. Hofpause! Schnell, zum Geheimtreffen am Rand der Welt: Die Sonne sinkt alle vier Minuten. Zwischen den Bäumen heulen grausame Wölfe und zittern ängstliche Hasen. Keine Sorge, wenn Du nicht weißt wohin. Unter dem Regenbogen warten die Bastardfools auf Dich. Aber sind sie gnomische Diktatoren, oder naive Demokraten? Oder führen sie uns zur Anarchie? Mit Musik, Lügen, wichtigen Fragen und überraschenden Rückführungen.
